2Does the treatment change the way the floor or bathtub look or feel?
There is no discernible change in the look or dry feel of your floor when professionally applied. When wet, the surface actually becomes LESS slippery. For fiberglass tubs, some people choose to have us a apply a light topical solution to improve traction, but you can only notice the application, up close.
3Does, this treatment protect me in a lawsuit?
In most cases, awards are based on negligence. Did the business know there was a risk, and did they take action. There is case history, where hotels have hired a professional to treat their floors, and they were not sued, when a fall occurred. Our service reduces the likelihood someone can defend a negligence claim.
4What types of floors can be treated to become slip resistant?
The Slip Solutions process is effective on all mineral surfaces; ceramic or porcelain tiles, marble, travertine, concrete, river rock and more.

7Will having my floors treated affect my insurance rate?
Upon receipt of your 2-year warranty documenting your new slip resistant COF numbers, you should have your insurance agent fax the document to underwriting for reclassification and adjustment.
8Does this treatment guarantee that I won't have a slip & fall accident?
No, we can’t guarantee that no one will ever fall on a treated floor but we do guarantee that your floor will meet or exceed government and industry standards for a “safe walking surface”, which is a COF of .6.
9Why do you say that the treatment makes it "Safer Wet than Dry"?
Our treatment changes the surface in such a way that when exposed to water the floor is actually measurably less slippery when it is wet than when it is dry.
10Can I buy the product and do it myself?
Yes and no. Authorized distributors such as Slip Solutions purchase in higher concentrations from the manufacturer, AND we have the tools, training, and certification to apply the products.
11How long does it take to treat my floor or bathtub?
Tubs or showers typically take less than about 1-2 hours. Commercial applications average 2 hours for every 1000 sf.
12How long before I can walk on the floor or use the tub?
The surface is ready for use immediately, there is no cure time.

14I've owned my business for many years and never had a slip-and-fall accident. Why should I worry about it?
If you stay in business long enough statistics indicate that it is inevitable that someone will suffer a slip-and-fall at some point. The problem is universal across all business types.
15Does my business qualify for the ADA Tax Credit?
If your business meets the IRS requirements of a “small business” you will qualify for the tax credit. Speak with your accountant or visit the IRS website and review IRS form # 8826 for definitions.
16How can I determine if my floor is treatable?
Your licensed NON-SLIP applicator will be able to determine if your floor can be treated.
17Will your treatment dull my shiny floor?
Most of our treatments will not cause a noticeable reduction in shine. We prefer to first treat a small area with our proprietary process, at NO COST TO YOU, so you can experience the difference between the “treated” and “untreated” surfaces. Once you have approved the full service, we will apply the “micro-tread” treatment to your entire floor, until your SCOF exceeds OSHA/ADA guidelines.
18Why do I need aftercare products?
Many floors do not need any special treatment in order to maintain their slip resistance but certain environments such as kitchens require products which eliminate grease and prevent a buildup which would degrade our treatment.
19How are they different from our regular cleaners?
They have been specifically designed and tested to be more effective against grease and oil.
